Terrifically Two!: Monster Truck Birthday

As you may have guessed from the title, for Edwin's 2nd birthday he asked for "MONSTER TRUCKS!" (the words are never said without an air of drama) Without bowing to the easiness of grabbing a lot of pre-made black, red, and flames decorations, we had a lovely little party perfect for his attention span.
Cake I refurbished from a camo bakery cake using ice cream toppings and gold sprinkles
Cupcakes by Madison

"Track dirt" chocolate pudding, crumbled oreos, and marshmallow "boulders"
 Leftover oreos
 STREAMERS!STREAMERS EVERYWHERE!

 The Bathroom. Clever,eh?
 Dollar store treasure "Happy Birttday!"
It was a very enjoyable party, Edwin got a brand new kitchen, blocks, and a great warm "Happy Birthday" from his whole family. He even sang the song to himself and blew out his candle like a pro.

Wright Patterson National Air Force Museum

Despite the frigid weather, we take an outing to the Air Force Museum at the invitation of Aunt Erin and Uncle Rusty. Edwin is very excited the whole time, though he's not allowed to run around too terribly much.

There were lots of amazing and....'subtle' designs like this one.

This giant plane took up nearly the entire hangar
 Pre-WWII  Army Planes
 Look Mommy! It's red!
 "ELEPHANT!"
There were two cockpits to sit in and take photos, or takeoff, in Edwin's case.
His favorite plane, he kept saying "Rawr!"
He loved the rockets the best.
 See?Subtle
He wanted to 'liberate' the models, there were hundreds!

 Space capsule

It's da' bomb!(literally,an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile I think)

It was a super fun and very tiring afternoon, we shall have to go again to see even more wonderful history.
